I finally had a day off (first one in two weeks) so I made a few groove wrap pendents. This first one is some of the stuff I collected in Puerto Vallarta earlier this year. I'm not sure what its reflecting but it looks like a big hole in the picture. There is no hole but its to late to start taking new pictures. Back to work at 7:00. This one is some picture jasper I got in a trade with 4corners. This stuff is really hard so it was slow grinding but I love the way it turned out. This one is a local Estevan Saskatchewan jasper. This one is some local Estevan Saskatchewan Hell stone. I know thats not the proper name (not sure what it is), but the stuff usually breaks and smells like sulfur when grinding so Hell stone seems like a good common name. It looks black in the picture but is really a dark green.

Beautiful pendants! All of them. But my favorite is the seccond one, the colors in the rock are eye-catching.

Those are beautiful groove wraps. The reflection in the first one looks like a distorted grand chandalier (sp?). I love the Picture Jasper but they are all just wonderful

It was taken in my bathroom so no chandalier. Might just be me before I crawl into bed???

The first one is my favorite. What is your secret to getting such a good tight bail wrap?

Groovy Baby ;D Sorry about that. It was the first thing that poped into my head. You have really done a great job with these. I really like that second one. Very pretty! Fran

Thanks guys, glad you like them. No secret Thom Tapp, I just hold one end of the wire against the stone twist it around bottom to top, then I use the excess on the bottom to squeeze another time around in which seems to snug up everything.
