Didn't think I'd ever get time to wrap again! Felt good to do two this morning, a Red Jasper that our realtor picked out for his wife and my favorite Mozarkite. Both of these came from my latest vibe cab batch that I posted in the Tumbling section. Didn't show the final of the Mozarkite in that thread, cause as soon as I saw it as I was rinsing, I kissed it and put it in my pocket! LOL. Forgot it was there when I took the final pics. Oh well, what are ya gonna do with me? Wanted to top this BikerRandy Petstore Red Jasper with a feminine flor. Front Back This next one is my first horizontal oval and it took a little fiddling to get it close to balanced- never achieved true balance between bindings and bail, but oh well... it is for me! Weeshan Mozarkite Scene of the Himalayan Mountains (loved this scene ever since I saw it on the side of the rock!) Front Back Tanx for lookin'. Jo

I can see why you kissed that sweet red stone. I love the flower at the top with the petals on either side.
The Mozarkite wrap is amazing. Truely a one of a kind stone with a wrap that just make you want to stare at it. Beautiful work.

Jo, Those are both outstanding! It's hard to get a fire engine red stone, but it looks like you did it, with a great polish! Also, I love that mountain scene in the second one. Beautiful job of wrapping too - each wrap seems to perfectly compliment the stone! Garry

Damn you're good!! ;D ...Those look great, that's totally cool the way you did the flower with the leaves, that's a new one on me. Also, on the second one, you and I are starting to think alike. I just posted one in my thread that has the same idea!

Saskrock- Quadruple tanx! Shannon- I'm glad too, and glad you found one too!!! John- How can I pass on Moz? How 'bout I PM ya for a mini FRB swap? Randy- That's scary... LOL. Naaawww, just kidding... it's a high compliment!
Guess what! After I kissed the Moz and put it in my pocket, and then did some frantic house cleaning... I promptly ran it through the washer! Forgot to take it out of my pocket! LOL!

Thanks Franny. Chris... that's too wierd. Ok, I got a story for ya'll. I took Angie for a walk at my collecting spot. It starts out being a park so my intention was to give us a little exercise and just take in the good spring weather we've been having. And... since I wasn't going to collect anything, I didn't take anything to carry rocks... (big mistake). So, I walked the creek past my usual collecting spots and saw some NEW stuff. Ut oh.... but I just picked up two- one in each hand... I'm thinking "I can do this. I'll only carry these out." But, I passed a spot above my normal green moonstone collecting spot and saw a gorgeous green moonstone, one that would be perfect for my AOS on our house competition prize box. Well, you can guess what happened. I took my shirt off to carry about 6 rocks in and bundled them up and held them in my arms. They weighed about 40 lbs. LOL. Oh, I was wearing a sleeveless shirt underneath (for those with dirty minds). Well, I had to scramble up a bank and naturally slid. Didn't fall on my butt, but forward onto the rocks I was clutching and laughed 'cause Angie was ahead of me at the top of the bank and ran down at me when she saw me fall and ran around me like a maniac. I had to duck and cover my head. LOL. Well I got back to the car and almost got home when I noticed that my Mozarkite wrap was mangled and there was no stone! NO STONE!!!! Well, after driving back, walking the half mile to where I fell, finding it in the leaves, walking the half mile back to the car and finally getting home to start dinner... this is what my Mozarkite wrap now looks like: Wire is pretty mangled. But, this stone has been processed in my vibe, ran through the washing machine, crushed between 40 lbs of rocks and my chest, and it's still shiny! ROTFL! I'll keep you posted on how I wrap it again... (hope you guys enjoyed this...) Jo

Good luck on the new wrap Jo.

Carrying 40lbs of rock in your shirt can make you a bit top heavy. ;D (sorry, I just had to state the obvious) Glad you had Angie with you, though she was worried, she made you laugh.
That part of the story was funny. What happped to your wrap is not but at least the stone didn't break.

Yeah, I'm thinking of nick-naming it Timex or Phoenix! I was determined to find it again, that's for sure... just had to follow my nose for the smell of what Randy left on the ground, that caused me to slip... and look for the dent that I made in the ground, LOL. I think the only reason I didn't get hurt was that I impacted against my chest, luckily I have a little cushion there! Jo
