I received a big box of goodies from Jo the other day....lots of nice PA material, some pretty wraps and bless her heart, even a skull (raccoon) that she collected out in the woods for me, the bone collector LOL She said "ewwww" multiple times but still brought it back. Thank you so much Jo!!! Some of Jo's local PA material became acquainted with my trim saw yesterday and here are a few of my favorites. Lavender/Yellow/White These are BEAUTIFUL and the pics just do not do them justice. Almost like plum colored marcasite in clear quartz. These slices are going to make gorgeous cabs. This one is very confused about what it wants to be, but I sure like it! Ohhhh, and this one. This one really shocked me when I sliced it. How pretty is that?!?! Hey tonyterner.........wasnt it you that was always telling me that PA had no good rocks? LOL ;D Thanks for lookin, and thank you again Jo....you're a sweetie!!! Shannon

I received a beautiful box too! I haven't gotten to cutting any that Jo sent but it won't be long now! She really is a special person to think of us and that mossy looking one at the end is just beautiful! Fran

Oh yes, alot of head-scratchers around here! LOL. That's what a local rockhound told me on the phone, and boy he said it! Shannon, can't wait to see what they look like! Amber has a box waiting for her that's getting heavier every day! That plum Marcasite in quartz is her fav and she's got some of that in there for sure! Franny got some too, with special attention to tumble-size, but plenty to cab too!
Amber, I stumbled on all this (literally)... but, I'm beginning to think that there are no coincidences. You guys helped me not get yelled at for taking too many rocks with us when we finally embark on our upcoming nomadic existence! Plus, I still get to rockhound! LOL, so happy you like them, Shannon.
