Here are photos of my first ever cab I made and first ever cab wrap using Randy's tutorial. Will be making a few more cabs when I can since I have the slabs. I used 22g round Argentium Silver and 21g half round Argentium Silver for the wraps. I really prefer Argentium Silver since it doesn't tarnish as quickly as Sterling. Oh and if anyone has any ideas as to what this stone is then please let me know. ;D Theresa

That's your first wrap? And first cab? My stuff didn't look like that for two years!! Everything is tight and symmetrical, very clean and beautifully designed!! I'd love to see more of these, you definitely are a natural.

Thanks everyone. I had a very good teacher as far as the cabs and of course Randy's tutorial made it easy. Plus, I took a LONG time being very precise while wrapping the cab. It would have been an expensive mistake with all that wire! lol
Can't wait to do more to post and of course I love checking out everyone's beautiful works too. Theresa

Wow! You did a great job on both. The swirls at the top of the wrap accents the swirl like pattern in the top of the cab beautifully.

Randy has inspired so many and he's such a great teacher Now I get to walk around with a big head all day ;D lol ....... I can only do so much though, Theresa was born with the knack for doing things. Something tells me that she knows more stuff as well (artwork, fancy stitching, whatever) .... we wanna see pics!!

That is, how else can I say it? Lovely! My guess is that the stone is jasper-agate. It will be fun to see your future posts. This one will be hard to beat. Garry
