Here are a couple more wraps that I have done recently. This one took a bit of reworking the wire before I got something that I liked. I thought I was going to have to scrap the wire and start over but it seemed to work out. This one is wrapped in gold and silver and I really like that combination.

Ohhhhh Lori, they are both regal looking with those shield shapes. I love the second one that is really classy and elegant!!! Are those cab from Jamie? Neat material and really great cabs!

These cabs are beautiful and your wraps complete them! It looks like 6 strands of wire on the second one...what gadge did you use for that one? I don't even think I could try the first style yet. Maybe not even the second but they sure are beautiful! Fran

Lori-both great, but I love the second one-the embellishment on the binding wrap in the front is too cool-it looks like round wire rather than half round-is it?

Fran, I use 22 gauge wire almost exclusively. Altogether, I used 9 strands of wire, two are twisted and pounded flat and next to the GF square are 2 GF round in the middle.

I love the combination of the twists & color change - I also love the little swirl on the binding on the second one - any chance of a closeup of that?
The first one is spectacular - very original - I loOOOoove it! - Very regal! Looks like a family shield

Those are great Lori! That first one has a kind of manly shield crest look going for it. Great design. I'm glad you kept going with it!! I like silver and gold together too. Both super! T
