How do you guys do this? You guys knock out the most awesome and mind blowing wraps ... in one day of all things .... Woof ......... I feel faint!!! All I want to do is to be able to rub up against (nothing dirty!!) any of you (it's called osmosis) and be able to knock out these pieces ... wanders around looking for someone to adopt me ... or teach me .... or ..... JUST TELL ME HOW TO DO IT!!!!As always .... oh crap .... forgot what I was going to say ;D

You are not alone. It takes me a while to get wraps done. Slow and steady. I guess if I kept doing them I would get faster but I take long breaks in between. Fran

Too funny.... LoL ;D I don't know what you mean, you wraps look good so far to me... I like the " simply complicated " style you give them. And, teach you? Randy taught me, only instruction I have had.... Well, I guess if your ever in the Dayton area ( and if Diane will let you ) you can rub against me, we can see how that works, lol Chris

LOL Julie......Ive found its just a matter of perfecting a method. Randy for example......he found what worked for him and he can replicate it every time. Find a style that works for you and perfect it before moving on to others. Or, you can just try the "rubbing on people" idea. Shannon

Honestly, I see the artwork that all of you do and all I can do is admire. I'm just not "artsy". If I tried wrapping, it would look like a rock that got stuck in barbed-wire. So, I just keep hounding to supply those who need it and finally get some satisfaction when I see the occasional pic of "my" stone that someone has made pretty. It sucks to be all thumbs, but at least they can pick-up rocks.

*LOL* I tried me some wrappin too and I'd have better luck wrappin barbed wire around a bull's privates. I had me so many kinks and knots, stones shooting out onto the floor, loose ends I had no idear what to do with etc etc that I finally just gave up. You great wrappers must have sum magic fingers or something and that friggin Randy does like 30 in one day. That just don't seem right!......Mel

Sabre!!!
Sorry I did not post sooner about your post.
Your description even had me cringing!!! But ... something tells me your analogy is exactly what I am talking about.
That would be one PO'd bull.
As always Julie

Hi ya! I haven't been here on the forum in quite a while...got a new computer and dang it all, I forgot to save this url!!!! DUH moment for sure, as I love this forum. Anywho, wire jewelry looks soooo easy...and to some it is more so than others. Hey...everyone has a talent and some can make beautiful stones for us to wrap! Still and all...patience is the key. Slow and steady...lots of copper wire and cabs. To me it seems like Geometry...hard at first and then it just clicks. Don't give up and mostly...have fun!!!!
