Well, last Friday at work I was hanging a flourescent light and my drill slipped and I drove a phillips bit ( that right a phillips bit ) right through ( yes through ) my thumbnail and into my thumb ( ouch ).... don't ever try that!!! Remember, when driving a screw, always keep you hand at least 2 screw lenghts away, that way if the screw does fall over this dosent happen to you . I would show a pic, but it's not pretty ... Between that and my truck... last week was a bad week... I decided I had healed enough to do a wrap.... it hurt, but I got one done tonight... A little piece of red tigereye, wrapped in copper. I tried to hide the bail behind the top of the heart, it worked out pretty well. What do you think? Front... back... from the side a little so you can see the bail... By the way, I'm putting this one up for auction too in the buy and sell forum... .... Also, does anyone know where I can get little jewelry boxes to put these wraps in to ship them out? Chris

That is a great wrap...especially for someone who screwed his thumb. Man, that hurts just to think about I got some boxes from GemMountain that were just what I wanted and pretty cheap. T

Screwing your thumb had to hurt. Glad your are on the mend. The wrap is beautiful and you did a great job hiding the bail behind the hear. I really like that idea.
If you are in a hurry for the boxes, I believe Michaels or AC Moore has them but they may be a little more expensive per box than ordering on line.

thumb, yikes!!!
Michael's/AC Moore sells the little jewelry boxes and sometimes the dollar store in with the gift wrap. My mom is a manager with Avon so I have her save all the boxes for me! Amber

That turned out very nice and OUCH! Your not supposed to put it through your finger! That hurts just thinking about it! I agree with Amber, they are at Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Truth to be told, If I win one of the wraps, just wrap it up good in what ever you have. You don't need to spend the extra on it until you get turned around and have it. Fran

Beautiful stone and wrap, the wire flows pretty much like the stone's pattern. OUCH, that drilling sounds really bad! Adrian

I have always disliked Phillips screws for reasons other than this one. I think MY thumb is having sympathetic pain just from reading this post. You did a very nice job with the wrap irregardless of the damaged thumb. Woody
