Here's something I thought would be fun to share... a buddy of mine is SE Oregon is a flintknapper and does some amazing creations! He's is one he*l of a artist! He left two of these eagle for me to sell for him so if anyone is interested let me know! These are all made by hand... No power tools and machines used to create any kerfs etc... This is all hand tools only.

The two in my shop he's asking $225 each for.... There about 4" long and 2" wide... I'll get the exact if you need? I have one made from Transparent Green obsidian and Lace? I believe. He has another one which is 9" and is outstanding.... He was asking $800 for that one. I'll try to find my disc and show you the other work Emory does.

VERY fine looking pieces. The Bird type eccentrics are REALLY difficult because of the wings . You can almost walk up to a display case and pop em off by simply lookin at em ! your buddy there has some good hands on him and the asking price is not at all out of line. Collectors who appreciate the workmanship that goes into this type item wouldn't blink an eye at it !

Your exactly right! I hate even moving these around as I'm afraid to break em! Yeah the price isn't bad at all considering the time and effort he spends knapping them.... I looked today and yes the two I have are Midnight Lace, and transparent green obsidian.

Those are very impressive. I would be afraid to pack and ship those and I pack and ship delicate stuff for a living.
