They look great! Now whatcha gonna do with 'em?? ;D My first ones, and at least half of the ones I cut even now, come out different thicknesses. The "great ones" tell us to keep practicing. Susan2

Thanks Ralph & Mary Ann! unfortunately my courier route doesn't take me in Mesa or we would have met by now Yep- I'm considering getting a saw with a 10" blade to get more depth of cut 2" depth from my 7'' - just doesn't cut it whoops  I just baked this today and it is already is hard! darn color didn't come out but its a real light lime- greenlike sherbet and is sort of soft 5 mohs or so just enough to take a polish (can get another pic of it later ) but it really interests me was wondering if you guys could identify?

It can be hard to cut flat slabs on a tile saw but they come out close enough to work. You did a wonderful job with your first attempts! Fran

Thanks Fran ! Hey Mark I just looked up serpentine jade and this material I have certainly as the same hue. I made a heart from some of it. I consider it one of the homilest hearts I've made. O I've made a few. But it is a FIRST from rocks that I found and cut myself. this pic is fairly good representation of the color. The material didn't polish that well. But that may be my own inexperience maybe I'll put it back to the wheels see if I can't make a bit more shiny thanks again to all for the look'n & comments! means a lot to this lone stone

It makes a BIG difference when you can say you found it, cut it and ground and polished it, doesn't it? Makes one proud because NO ONE ELSE has ever seen it before. Ken
