Spent some time at RocksJ2B2 and indulged in treating myself to a few rocks:
Got the big piece of picture jasper at the local rock show this month. Just threw itinto the photos.
This piece of Sci-FI might be a little fracture prone. May have to use a lot of superglue. I just like the broad stripe in the center with circular shapes within it.

Squirrelly Rhyolite. Supposed to take a good polish. Love the pattern. (click for full size)
Just one shot of this. Nice solid chunk of Al's Canyon Rhyolite. I see small thundereggs, and I am hoping it polishes as well as Australian RainForest Jasper (which is also thundereggs in silicified green Rhyolite). This is supposed to take a great shine.
Got a piece of Lizard stone last fall. Took the opportunity to pick up another piece before it was all gone. (click for full size)
Pilbaro Jasper. Been intrigued with black rock for backgrounds. Never likes the pieces I saw online, but loves dome of the cabs I saw online. Decided to handpick a few pieces and take a chance:

Bulico Jasper - Have some of this, but thought I saw red hills under cream sky with calligraphy -like characters in the sky. We will see if my cutting skills are up to my imagination skills. (click for full size)
OK, Laguna Lace - sort of. I understand the difference between Laguna Lace and other Crazy Lace is about 700 yards. I won't pay the $25/lb for high grade Laguna Lace, so I was keen to pick over this lower grade pile. Most of it looked more like crazy lace to me. Figured I could grab a few of the better pieces in the pile, and save a lot of money.

A small piece of Polish Flint. I have enough of this, but this piece had some nice pattern and some bluish tones that my stuff does not have. (click for full size)
A few pieces of Ocean Jasper, because the 50lbs of OJ I have is not enough. I continue to pick less typical color and pattern, but going for solid pieces with few vugs and macro quartz crystal.

Something called Paul Bunyon Jasper. I liked the pattern, so I tried two small pieces. (click for full size)
Finally some white banded agate new out of Madagascar

This is Fish Eye Agate. Thought I would try a few pieces. Pattern is a bit large for what I usually like.

Got this Koi Jasper a while back form RockMan69. Been blocking it so I can start to take slabs across the striped pattern:
