Well, I got a few more pieces of Montana Agate over the weekend, and wrapped one last night. Kind of the same design as the last one, just dripping with copper. What do you all think? Front... Back... Montana Agate is just too cool, I have been so mezmerized by the piece I received from Fran ( thank you Fran ) that I just had to get more. I was chatting with a customer the other day who had alot of rocks on display in his house and he gave me a few of his tumbled stones.... I still have a couple more to wrap... I also got a few more agate nodule halves from him, he had hundreds of them, some might be a little too big to wrap, but a few are definately going to get done.... Chris

NICE! If you're open to suggestions, I'd love to see turquoise, chrysocolla, and/or malachite wrapped in copper. They're all "copper cousins", so I'd imagine they'll go well together.

The wrap really works well with the pattern in the stone. Nice work. T

That turned out beautifully! The wire flow is fantastic and just adds to the beauty of the stone. You did another great job! Fran

My eyes are playing tricks on me - front and back don't even look like the same stone. That is awesome. I like the back side...looks like a lake scene. You picked up the color in the front of the stone with your wrap that looks amazing! Barb

You really have mastered the intertwining of wire. You make that copper look like it is flowing on the stone. The wrap is stunning.

Your curves are perfect but its not your fine workmanship that really amazes me, its your design. You obviously can think in 3D very well to come up with this design. Its a beaut!

Micheal John.... I would love to work with some of those stones, I'm just using whatever I can come up with right now though . And the $3.50 spool of copper wire at Hobby Lobby is right up my alley.... lol. Geo-ing Crazy.... The back has a big fracture in it, that's why it looks so different. But your right, it does look like a lake!!!! Everyone, thank you so much!!!! You all keep making me want to do more and more difficult wraps, I started one tonight that is getting a little bit out of control, but I think it will come out O.K. I should have it done tomorrow... if I can pull it all together that is.... Chris

That first one is a masterpiece! it's like the copper wire mixed into the stone! Brilliant choice of the copper for that beautiful stone!

Chris - I've not had enough time to post much lately but I've seen your wraps since you joined the board and it's really cool to see the progression in your style. This one has such a fluidity to it - I don't think you could have come up with a better word than "dripping" to describe it! I think this is one of my favorites of yours - though I couldn't swear to it... Looking forward to seeing your next one!
