This is a blue moonstone. I wish that I could have captured the blue flash, this is an amazing cab!! New York Lapis. I didn't even know that there was Lapis up there! Here's some of the "Grade A" lapis from Afganistan... More lapis.. New York lapis Lapis Lapis Yep, Lapis (looks very close to the last one) Some sort of quartz material.... Unkown but I think it has malachite in it.... That's it! ...Well, I still have 21 more to go in this batch ;D

I always love looking at your wraps. Is the blue moonstone also known as rainbow moonstone? I think that is my favorite but that green one in gold is also wonderful.

Lori, I think you're right, I believe that he did call it rainbow moonstone once or twice. He gave me two slabs of it this morning One more thing.... Thanks y'all!! Your comments keep me striving for perfection

The stuff that I sent you is the green stuff from PA. I think that this was from VA.

Wow! So that's blue moonstone. Similar, yet different to mine. So very cool. You look like you've been in Lapis Land all this week! Loved this Randy!

Your work is so precise and accurate, they all came out beautiful and flawless. I bet you can do them by now without even looking at them Adrian

Hi Randy, Exquisite work! Love the way you dress them up without overpowering the stone.
By the way, what do you charge for wrapping a customer's cab? I've been in that situation, but never know what to ask.
Thanks, JoAnne

Randy, Life is back to normal. You are posting wraps again. I missed seeing them for awhile. I love lapis and you sure wrapped them all nicely! I didn't know they had it in NY either. I was always told it was only in Afghanistan but that was always hard to believe. Lets face it. Diamonds are all over the place so why wouldn't lapis be? I am really looking forward to the next batch! Try not to do them while watching the playboy channel...you never know what they will turn out like. Fran

I was wondering what happened to you and your wire wrapping - you spoiled us there for a while! Was afraid you had burned out after that last marathon! These look great - they are so delicate and perfect - and flow so beautifully. Now go ahead and get started on those other ones!
