Got this off of ebay. Was listed a pink and purple jasper. From an old collection of course, isn't everything.

i don't thing it pink & purple jasper mostly likely its purple & pink jasper but in order for me to be a bigger help send to me immediately for a closer inspection

That swirly pink looks alot like the Mozarkite from John. Its always hard to tell from a photo though.

well I agree! if it mozart then steak and lobster is appropriate it kind of an inside joke going back to amber's butterfly thread but I like the page you linked on mozartkite my eyes are bit tired to read but perusing it i saw they were talking about a bucket of chicken so there is some thing to mozart & chicken ;D that man ate mochick'n any man ever seen! I'm buying!!!

o I know pal! nuthin but beef jerky today and I'm lucky to have that ! but I was out doing lot sawing today also geesh this little nugget must have diamond in it! i could not saw thru this nugget hope you have good luck with yours I cabbed a piece a mozartkiite once really fine material!

No I just cut the heal off, still about 3 1/2 lbs left. Plan on cabbing it. Not today though, jumpin in the jetboat and going for a run to my hunting grounds. Maybe find me some Dino bones and Pet. wood. Warmest day of the year so far. Can't sit at home.

Yeah, I'd say no on the mozarkite especially since I've seen it cut. The exterior has a botryoidal appearance and I've not seen that in any mozarkite I've gotten in trade. I'd almost say it's Utah (grape agate) material from around Green River. Many of the nodules from there have pinks and purples and the grape like lumpy exteriors.....Mel
