Wrapped a couple of pieces of Ocean Jasper today that sweetie John, Builtonrock sent me. They are both half-rounds. I left the natural stone on the tops because I thought it made them interesting. Here are the two OJ's. Can you guess what they are? Front Back Front Back Also did a couple more. This is a Ruby in Zoisite in 12k gold filled. Front Back This next one of MichaelJohn's seam agates from Agate Road wrapped in sterling. He sent some that were rounded to be wrapped as they were to show the unique bubbly natural surface. Front Back (polished... actually, it could also serve as the front) And lastly, this is a cab made from MichaelJohn's Selenite, groove wrapped, Adrian style, in 20g sterling. This stuff has an incredible luminescence, when cut the proper direction. Cutting for the schiller, can be tricky, similarly with moonstone. Took some practice. Thanks for looking. Jo

Jo: Are they a bird? A plane? A boat? LOL!!! Great job on the wraps, I like the natural tops! I think the selenite is really stellar! I thought of you I bought a selenite candle holder at the rock show this weekend. Your wraps are lovely.

More pretties! I love the sails and the bow! Very creative!
Out of the hundreds of "Agate Wrappers" I've sent-out, I think that's the first one I've seen wrapped! I love your unique wrap! You've even made the back beautiful!
That Selenite groove wrap is awesome! The "squiggly" on the front really makes it POP! I'll be looking forward to seeing more of the Selenite cabs and wraps. You're doing fantastic work with it!

Those are great Jo! The first one is a sloop (replete with mast, jib & main). The second one is a basket with a ribbon. The others are cool wraps. My favorite is the ruby in zoisite. Of course, all the pics are expertly done too.

Wow, where do I start? Thanks Garry, now I know my ships... and parts of ships. LOL. I had no clue, this is perfect! Amber, MJ, Adrian, Julie, Shan, Steve, and last (but certainly not least) Randy-- your comments really help me to tweak and improve. When you point out your favs, it let's me know I'm still doing something right. When you notice something unique, it helps me develop new styles and techniques.
Steve (NorthShoreRocks) has been helping me out with photography and although I don't have it right yet, I'm really playing with light, angle and focus and am now so much more aware than I ever was. Randy, I still got your style down, but don't want to flood everybody with look-alikes... you, Adrian and Lori are still the innovators (as the others before you), who have paved the way for me and others to learn and grow with our skills, tools, ability and materials. Thank you all very much! Jo

Wow Jo, your creativity is incredable. They are all beautiful. The Ship and the basket with the bow are just amazing and the selenite is gorgeous.

Jo, you are quite talented and seem to pick up the styles quickly. This is your special talent I think and I do so enjoy seeing your cabs and wraps. Better in person!!! I will treasure my little keepsake from you as I hope you remember the little people. LOL
