Well, yesterday I got home from work and had to go out and cut out some rough preforms. It was just too nice to stay in. Here is what I got done and ready to go to the grinder for the edges. Here they are dry: And wet to show the colors: Thanks for looking! Fran

Ooooh baby. That's gonna be some fun Fran! I like the yellow teardrop at about 10 o'clock with the red tipped bottom, and the red triangle-ish one up and to the right of it with the light druzy looking center delicately framed in yellow. Those are gonna be killer! Make sure you show them off, will ya? Jo

Gadzooks Fran! You're getting to be like ole Randy. You're a preforming machine. That's a whole lot of pretty pieces. I like the red ones with the white spots.....Mel

Now the hard part, getting them to the polish phase...I have a group of about 20 I have been working through for a few weeks now when I feel like working them. They only just finished the 325 tonight and look like they are ready to go to 600 finally. I still have the 600, 1200 and the 3000 before getting to polish and that is where I have my problems. Never can get the high gloss that I want but I am determined to get there. Fran

Beautiful pre-forms , Fran! I can recognize some of those shapes Can't wait to see them ready. I like them all but the fluorite set caught my eye. Never worked fluorite, I understand it's a bit soft. Good luck un finishing them. Adrian
