Can someone help? My Diamond Pacific Genie is only eight months old and all of a sudden it isn't drawing enough vacuum and very little to no water is reaching the wheels. The pump itself seems to be working well enough, I have oiled where recommended and the direct belt seems to be turning properly. Does anyone have any advice? I will order the replacement kit but that doesn't help me in the mean time.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks, Helen

Helen, It seems strange that in 8 months your vacuum has failed. Is one of those little tubes pinched somewhere. I know I've placed the splash guard on and it has pinched one of the tubes. Also...you may want to check that one of the tubes hasn't rubbed a wheel and is punctured somewhere...I;ve done that one too! Good-Luck. Wish I could help more. Steve

Thanks for the heads up but it wasn't a pinched tube. The pump had stopped working and I had lubricated it as per instructions. When I replaced the top I didn't screw it down properly and it was leaking ever so slightly around the seal. Hubby looked at it, added a new seal and put it back together. Everything is working just fine.
Thanks a lot

For the record it is an air pump not vacuum. You don't need to oil until pump performance is reduced. I put both geysers under the wheel I'm using to better "flood" the wheel. The biggest problem I have is the hard water deposits plugging the port on the geyser after using it at Cloud's Show near Laughlin.
