I asked John ( BuiltonRock ) for one of his crosses and he sent me two awesome little crosses ( and a suprise ). I haven't wrapped anything for a couple of weeks so I decided to do something simple today, and the crosses were perfect.... here's what I came up with for them.... Fancy Jasper... Brazillian agate... And the backs... These little crosses were so cool, I did my best to cover as little of the stone as possible .... And he also sent me a couple of cabs.... pink jade on the left and onyx on the right.... Thank you so much John.... Chris

Chris: John is a sweetie!! You know I almost like the backs of the crosses more than the front, all that wrapped wire makes it look very fancy and beautiful. You have such original ideas I have no idea how what is holding it in there, but awesome job and creativity.

You did a beautiful job wrapping those. Glad to see some more of your creative ingenuity. John is such a good person and so thoughtful. It will be fun to see what you do with those cabs.

Those wraps really look great! Are they secure enough? I would hate for one to fall out. That would be tragic! I can tell you will make those cabs a work of art once you wrap them. That is a great gift from John! Fran

Chris those came out amazing! I guess the hole drilled in the top came in handy after all. Thanks for sharing them.

Well.... John riuned the suprise ( just kidding ).... These have a hole drilled through them at the top ... so they are held in very securely, those crosses aren't goin' anywhere... you can see it in the brazillian, and on the back pics you can see the wire going to the hole. Actually most of the wire is pointless, just a decoration. If the hole wasn't there, I'd probably do pretty much the same thing though ( the "prongs " in the middle would hold the stone ). And NancyF, the brazillian really glows in the sun, it's almost wierd looking ( I haven't taken a good pic yet )... It has to be the light reflecting off all the wire on the back, I kind of wish I did the horizantal part too ( theres always next time ).. And as always, Thanks you everyone!!!!!

The crosses are very pretty. They can be worn either way too. Nice.
