whoa ! sulpher & brimstone work for sure!
that reminds me of the footage from Powaquatsi DVD I believe its from the Serra Pelada Gold Mine in Brazil thousands of men hauling gunny sacks of rough, I suppose out of the open mine to the mill long haul, uphill! serious footage

Thanks for sharing! Striking photos by an obviously master photographer. One wonders about the lifespan of these workers... seriously toxic gasses there, would be worse than a young republicans convention. Shame the sulfur comes out liquid instead of gaseous; might produce crystal crusts that would be worth a lot more as specimens instead of industrial sulfur, they could make $5 a rock instead of $5 a day.
