I am currently working with just one tumbler, bringing my stones up to the 500 stage, then when I get my second, it will be only for polishing. Then I'll get three, and four; you know!! But now I have all these different stones that need to be polished. Are there a few hints I can get from you folks on definite "Don't mix" stones I need to be aware of? Thanks!

Don't mix softer stones like obsidian or feldspar with harder rocks like agate and jasper. You can tumbler jasper and agate together. The feldspar and obsidian however, should only be tumbled by themselves.
