We spent last Sunday afternoon with Tony ( Catmandewe) and Chris on our way home from Boise, had a great lunch and visit there. AND THEN tour of rocks and saws and slabs! Some pretty amazing stuff. I bought a Highland Park cabbing machine from Tony (and NOW I have to learn how to use it). Took a tour of the rock piles and got some rock. I saw the trailer but didn't even go look in it because I had my head down, looking through the rock piles. I didn't know it was full of rock! Dang it. (Hubby took this picture) Hey Tony, if I had known you were pricing that whole trailer at $5.00 (taped price on the board), I would have figured out a way to haul it home! Guess we will just have to go back! Thanks again Tony and Chris! Barb (and Stan)

WOW that looks like fun! I imagine your vehicle needs new shocks after a trip to Catman's! Can't wait to see the cabs!

That looks like a great time! I can never look at enough good rocks in a pile! There is always one more that needs me to look at it! Maybe it is a good thing you didn't see the trailer until after you left. That would have been a heavy load to tow! Fran

Looks like you had a very good visit, and your 'new' HP machine must be the newest looking one in existance. It looks brand new, and only used once to see it it did work. You sure have no excuse to not be cabbing now. Woody

Mary Ann - I should have looked at your pictures more closely to see who was in the trailer when you posted your trip to Tony's! :-) I bet you got some good stuff.
Yeah, Woody, I am being told that is the newest looking HP machine in existence. Have to replace some water lines, make a base to set it on, and then I should be able to get started. When I say started, I mean ground zero, zip, nada know-how on cabbing. (Reading a lot here!) Stan has so many things on his to-do list, he has to get some of his stuff out of the way so he can let me have one of the cabinets for the machine...he SAYS this week!
I'm pretty sure it will be a while before I'm brave enough to post any cab pictures! Barb
P.S. Tony - I keep waiting for somebody to adopt the rock in your Avatar, I'm sure it is a really cool one. (If I could get any decent pictures of some of my Challis rocks I will try to post a few, but having a hard time getting close ups that are not blurry.)

That's a rock shop there!!! I would have taken the whole trailer for 5 bucks though. Welded a ball on top of your car and drive away. There's always a 1st time for everything right?!!? Steve

Just stay away from the front corner of the trailer it's mine. I stashed the best material from that haul up there. Condor agates, Royal Imperial Jasper, Morrisonite, Bruneau just to name a few.

I'd probably end up divorced if I made a visit!
Your HP is identical to mine. Wish I had the hand rest for mine.
