It took a few evening sessions on the tile saw to slice up my latest haul from Cape Sharp, near Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. I only found a few agate slabs amongst the basalt rubble piles at the base of the cliffs, so I rummaged through the tide polished beach rock and pulled out a few that caught my eye. This one mile section of beach offered up a lot of variety. All slices were cut on a 7” table mounted tile saw, so they are small. All slices were photographed wet to show their color and pattern. Photo 1 – The Haul (200 +/- slices) Photo 2 - Photo 3 - Photo 4 - Photo 5 - Photo 6 - Photo 7 - Photo 8 - Photo 9 - It will soon be time to cut some preforms. Thanks for viewing. 150FromFundy
