Hey everyone, I've been so busy this last week I haven't been able to do any wraps. First I want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes, it really means alot !!! I just couldn't wait any longer to show you guys. For my birthday, my father got me some silver and gold wire ( finally )!!! 20 gauge square dead soft and 24 gauge 1/2 round half hard in sliver; and 21 gauge square dead soft and 24 gauge round ( no 1/2 round in 24 ga? ) half hard in gold.... I'm so excited!!!! I cut off some silver to play with a bit ( can't afford to " play " with the gold ;D), I'm suprised how hard it is, the copper is quite a bit softer, but it's still easy to work with. I did notice that the wire tends to twist sometimes when doing a tight curve, but other than that, no suprises.... Chris

Looks cool! Glad you got gifts that you really wanted!
Do you have cabs to wrap?

Very cool birthday gifts! Yes, Half Hard can be a huge difference in handling from DS-I reserve that for rings or bracelets and use DS on all cab-wrapping.
This is a cool little thing kj

Michael John... that's right, wire and money ;D just what I wanted ( and needed , you know how that is ) And cabs... one ( the pink onyx ) from BuiltonRock ( probably gonna' wrap it tonight), and an assortment of tumbled stones from Fran, but that's about it.... for now that is, a few members on here are going to send me some more goodies to play with, I can't wait to see them.... naturenut... well, I wasn't planning to do anything with this..... I was just playing with the wire to see how it behaves...

Man to just be testing it out, it looks really good. Be sure to show us when you start using cabs.

Oh Chris, You are in business now! It is harder to straiten out mistakes with the silver but keep a cloth beside you to keep looking after/rubbing the wire as you work. Wrap the tip of your tools to try to prevent the marring and you will do great! Fran
