I had a big chunk of Mook that I had been saving so I sliced it up last night. It turned out ok some fractures like most but I forgot what a mess it is to cut I had just cleaned out my saw and now it has RED oil . Here is the batch A close up Thanks for looking Keith

Mook is one of my all time favorites! Love the colors in that one.

Mookaite like all reddish jaspers will certainly change the oil color. It is about the hardest jasper I ever worked with and takes a beautiful polish because of it. Fractures are very common.
