Howdy folks, Mentioned when I discovered the Cosmos Jasper, I found the Poppy Jasper veins called Strawberry Poppy Jasper just a bit further up the same hill. here are a few pics from the rough pile showing how this stuff occurred in layers with many subtle variations. Most these are big hunks. Thanks for looking..... Mel Strawberry red with yellow seeds: Small poppies with yellow to white centers: Bright red with blue white orbs: My favorites, the multiringed types: How the vein looked with bands of various colored jasper and poppies: In some spots about 16" thick and often narrowing to an inch or so:
