I'm sure they will turn out into a great bunch of cabs. And, looking at that high speed sander, this is going to happen very soon. I like the one in the close-up but the green ones are also striking.

Looks like you got some nice rocks and a good piece of equipment. That slab in the close-up is wild.

Wow what a score! Those Nyssa Plume slabs are huge! That badger pocket wood is the sycamore with those neat feather patterns when cut right? I have big hunk somewhere and it's one of my favorite woods....Mel

You got some nice slabs there. It was a great sale. I bought mostly rough. Been cutting some and wish I would have got more. Picked up 75lbs. There was a lot of dryhead, lace, Montana ect. Must have been 15-20 tons of rock. It was all $1 a lb. Floyd the 90 year old owner could still remember the name of the rock and how he got it. Arne

That badger pocket wood is the sycamore with those neat feather patterns when cut right? Yep Mel, that's the stuff. It is Sycamore with a beautiful feather pattern. I've been thinking about using it for inlay on my case trim. Arne: I wish I would have bought some of the rough, but after buying the sander and slabs I had reached my budget. Now I need to scrape up a fistful of dollars for the Pow-wow's..
