I made a deal with a person who had inherited a small rock collection (about 2 flat rate box's). Their relative collected rough rock (didn't cab or tumble go figure). They are not into rocks. They wanted to get rid of the rocks but still wanted something to remember their relative by so we made a deal. They picked out what they thought was nicest rock (jade) and I made 10 pendants for them and their family. They wanted them to look basically the same, these are what I came up with. Hope they like them. I'll take them over tomorrow. Jade pendants

You got a great shine on that jade. I've had some that won't take a shine, even when I took it up to a 14,000 mesh lap.
Looking good! Jo

You did an awesome job on them and that family is going to be just tickled with them. I don't know who made out the better on that deal! Jo

What you made for the family are prescious keepsakes. I am sure they will treasure them not just for the beauty but for the memory of a loved one who loved rocks.
I think your deal was more of a noble trade. Good for you!

I've been to Estevan, but not for about 100 years. I've relatives in Winnipeg (where I was born), & Saskatoon, Lucky Lake (small town in Sask), & some other places I can't remember. Both my mom & dad were from LARGE families, so I've got more relatives than I want to admit. Take care & God bless. Jo

Peoples collecting habits are different but you took something simple and made it into a cherished heirloom. Great job on cabs and wire wrap.

I think they will get so much enjoyment out of what you made, where it was not possible for them to find the treasure in the rocks their relative had. You will appreciate what this person collected and the family will have something meaningful to treasure. Great job! Fran
