LOL - it's just the opening here, so I'm busy catching up. I love how you accented the different markings of the stone. I take it the gold behaved this time? It's lovely!

Wow, I like that one alot! That's really cool how you outlined the patterns, it's a great design and a very clean job on the binding wraps. Awesome!!

I like it. The wires accented the stone and didn't take away anything. great wrap. Ken

Ditto everyone else: I love how you made the wire accent the patterns in the stone. That is really great artistry! Barb

You did it again Chris. The wire flows perfectly with the stone. What a great gold wire wrap.

This one was a pain to do... I had to wrap it twice, the first time the wire broke on the swoosh near the top of the stone. I twisted the wire from the middle ( I used the tip of my round nose pliers ), and the first time I twisted it a little too much . After twisting it and then putting such a sharp bend in the wire it just got too brittle... another lesson learned .... It sure does hurt to scrap the gold wire . Ronda... Phillip's solo was crazy!!! How does he move like that?!?! Isn't this season's dancers great? And yes the gold did behave, mostly because I use the silver for the binds... I need to try to exchange the 24ga half hard I have or something.... Randy... and the only instructions I have gotten so far are your tutorial ( and the others on the forum.... ) ... My binding wraps better be good, I learned from the best .... And thank you everyone.... but really, I have a lot to learn..... Chris

Every wrap gets better and better! Don't fret about the broken wire. Just keep the scrap in separate baggies (silver and gold) and then return for credit. Takes a little of the sting away about wasting it. I love how your wrap flows with the stone! Fran

About Philip - I know, right?!? As long as he's THAT good in his solo, he's going to be around awhile. And what Fran said about the wire. I have about 3 oz. of scrap right now (pieces too small or too mangled to be usable elsewhere) waiting to be sent back. I keep hoping (in a very small part of me) that silver prices would spike again just long enough for me to cash in.
