Hi Marie, I'd love to do that for you, but my slab saws are in AZ (if the rocks are large) & we won't be there until Oct. If you don't mind waiting for the bigger ones, we've got a deal. Also, I have a good size trim saw with me, so I can cut some of the smaller rocks (2 - 3 inches, maybe a little bigger) & get your pieces back to you. Will that work?
btw, love that Chinese writing stone! & the green one that was in your 1st pics. those are both just beautiful. B-D

sure, I can wait. As you know we have VERY long winters, so will need something to do by then too. PM me and let me know where to send a box to, and I'll get them out the next time I go in to town. (kinda live in the country) Which one are you calling the chinese writing stone? This stuff is all too big for me to do anything with. If it won't fit in the tumbler, I am outa luck. All I want is a teardrop pendant out of each different type of rock, and you can have the rest. I will mix a box of different stones up, so you get a variety you can cut for yourself. Some of the rocks are a little big, but I'll send them to you anyway, and when you can, you can. Thanks, Marie

Okey dokey, we're a go. you can send rocks as big as you like. I'll find a way to cut them & get your part back to you. even if they have to wait 'til fall. but I'll cut what I can this summer. what you do with the little ones is just beautiful. I will PM you with the address to use until mid/end of September. Exact date we hit the road is always open to change. That's the good part about living like this. Just follow the sun & our moods. I you want to see what I do with them, my website is: jewelryartistry.etsy.comI'm going to be listing a bunch of new cabochons later today or tomorrow. Thanks for making this offer. Looking forward to gettting my surprise box. Jo

Wow Jo those are really great!! I am always amazed at the imagination people will use when using the rocks in jewelry (hence the reason I'd like to see what you make for yourself!!) I'm afraid my imagination is limited...LOL. I like the natural shapes in the little stones, so however they come out of the tumbler is how I try to hang them on a bell. I will mail the box of rock on Monday, as it is late in the day, and post office is closed. We only have about 500 people in this little town, so they roll up the streets pretty early. I will get as much stuff in there as I can, so you have lots to play with when you get it.

Great. Now I'm really excited.
Btw, the town we're in during the summer has only 350 people, so I understand rolling up the sidewalks. Altho, the post office here is open for 1 1/2 hrs on Saturday. That always amazes me.
Take care & God bless, Jo

Sure I can do that. I have found a lot of banders...small stuff just right for tumbling. I too just have small tumblers, 4 of them. Just send me some pics of what you have! I am always wanting to try some new stuff!

Hi Marie, Just got the box of goodies. & are they ever - good, that is. I've separated the pieces I think I can cut on the saws I have here. I'm already working on a box of tumbling material for you. It'll take a while, since I don't have my "stash" with me. Once we get back to AZ I'll have LOTS to send you. & thanks so much for my gift. It's just beautiful. Jo

Your welcome. I am glad you like the box of stuff I sent! There is a lot of different types of jasper in there, and what I think is flint... ? I'm not real knowledgable about the different stuff out there and their names...but everything I sent, with exception to 1 stone, I have sent a small pice through the tumbler, and believe me when I tell you the stuff takes an excellent shine. Anyways, thanks again for being the first person to put a little bit of trust in me... Enjoy your goodies!! Marie
