You're right, those are cool rocks. Probably somebody on this board will be able to give you an idea what they are. Thanks for posting. Barb

I live in Minnesota, central....so I have this awesome selection of rock to choose from! There are so many others that I cannot even begin to picture them all, and they are in abundance...which is also nice. Rocks this size however sit in my flower garden outside, because I have no way of cutting them for anything. But they are cool to pick up, and look at in the garden

First one looks like Mary Ellen Jasper. The third one is a Laker. The fourth also looks like a Laker (although the 4th one is not a typical Laker). Number five might be banded rhyolite. Let me know if you need help cleaning up the back yard. Chuck

Yes, I did the wrap. It was my very first try at it...honest, I just wanted to see if I could do it. Not in to the beading thing, but something like this I feel I must try. (I'm kind of the creative type) I did a few of them, now have to wait for the rocks to come out of the tumbler before I have enough bigger stones to do it with. patience...patience....God grant me patience!! I also do a lot of crochet work, bake and decorate cakes, whatever. The wraps I did...well, I really don't have any tools to work with, so to coil I used the end of a crochet hook, and I had a small pair of needle nose pliers, that's about it.

okay just a few more to make your mouth water a bit. I went "shopping" in the pit 4th of July, for about 2 hours, and this is what I came back with. I brought some smaller pieces of stuff you guys might just like to look at...... green agate with white banding.... banding is a little hard to see in this agate, but trust me it's there

A lot of people just see "pit rocks", I am seeing some natural shaped pendants, and charms when they are polished.

You're a cruel, cruel person. You not only stick the knife in with the 1st picks, you have to twist it by posting the second set. Cruel I tell you, just cruel. Jo

I have only been rock hunting for a little while, and already I have a room set up...not at all organized, but I have my rocks in there. I must have 3 or 4 5 gallon buckets of rocks I have picked up. I went yeterday too, for a little while, found about as many as I did on the 4th of July. The one on the up right corner (in group photo) is really nice, the picture just does not to it justice. It has red, yellow, purple, brown, and a touch of green here and there. It's a little bit bigger than you can tell too. The one next to it is the whole blue agate I found. The blue is so dark it's hard to tell, but it has a red eye and red banding in it. I am going out there again this afternoon....should I torture you guys a little more? Or keep it secret?

Okay I have a few mouth waterers for you guys. I found these today, and just had to pick them up. Not sure what I'll do with them, but I brought them home anyways!! LOL Enjoy! And then there is this little agate. I had a very hard time getting a pic of this one, and it is very different from the rest Someone PM'd me and asked if I would put together an FRB or 2 of the "yard rocks" . I can do that, no problemBut I have no way of taking a credit card, so it would have to be money orders or checks, sorry about that. As far as trust goes...well, I guess we all have our issues, but I am a very trustworthy person, and have been in fact called a brutelly hurtful person because I don't beat around the bush with anything, I tell it like it is, and I see it for what it is, or who a person is. That being said, if someone wants me to put together a box or 2 for them, I am not sure what it would be worth, but how's 30.00 sound, and you get prior pictures of the box FULL of rocks. I don't even know what something like that would weigh in at, (25-30 lbs?) but I can find out if someone is interested. I WILL mail the rocks, I have no reason not to. I was self employed as a professional housekeeper for 10 years, and had people begging me to come in to their homes, until my knees gave out, and I could not do it anymore, and I made a LOT of money doing it, so that says something about me I think. Thanks, and enjoy the new shopping results for the day!! Marie

I would also be willing to trade with someone, if anyone is interested. I will send you a box of rocks, if you will cut me 1 small pendant from each rock. I really don't have a way to cut anything, and I only use the "bell caps" to make the pendants, so the ones you cut would only have to be about an inch and 1/2 or so big, in a tear drop style pendant that I can put through the tumbler. You don't have to do anything else with them, Just cut them for tumbling for me. You keep the rest of the rocks I send, and do with what you will. I only ask that you send me pictures of what you make, so I can see what the rocks I find will look like when done. I love to see results!! Thanx, Marie
