a towel as a noise dampener under my tumbler overheated the motor. can anybody direct me to replacing a motor? got the tumbler a week ago at garage sale. very cool. turned out one nice batch ready to be polished and then it fritzed. very sad.

HI Michaelzed, Welcome to the board. Before you go and buy a new motor try loosening the nuts up on the bottom of the motor 1/4 turn. Sometimes the older units will vibrate the nuts tighter (especially after they have sat a while) and make the motor seem like it is seized up. Has worked for me on a couple of different vibe units. If the motor is a goner contact John at JSGems, he can find you the motor.
