Either that or an ancient crocodile was feasting on an ancient armadillo when it was struck by lightning and sunk into the mud. This joker in Brazil could have just gotten carried away with his fossilized tinker toys. There are so many cases throughout the years of mismatched bones and paleontological gaffs. Plus for anything one paleontologist theorizes based on a piece of data there is another paleontologist with an opposite opinion based on the same data. It's a great field to be in really. It's right up there with meteorology in terms of nobody really faulting you if you're wrong. Cool article though free4rms. I enjoyed it. Thanks for posting it.
