Whilst we were in Prineville for the Pow Pow this last month, we stopped in at Quants Rock Shop to see what we could noodle up there, and Bill Quant showed us this jasper he just recently found. Much of it has yellow plume, looks very much like Fancy Jasper, and iBill is calling it Amity Jasper. Anyhow here is a photograph of it, and just for comparison, a shot of India Fancy Jasper, and another of both together. The Fancy Jasper is cleaner than the Amity...the black spots are on the surface. Woody The Amity Jasper India Fancy Jasper Both of side by side

Drool... yellow, red, and green in one cab.... arrrggghh.... I love color combos! me wants!
