Gosh I hate photobucket!!!! Ok more rocks. Some huge hunks of leopard skin jasper and bytroidyl crazy lace, again these pieces are so big we can't cut them. I know Fran is a fellow slag lover, this is one of my favorites! You are getting some of this Fran, I am sorry it wasn't cut for your b-day box! Now some slabs Marcasite, slag, lagunas Local stuff Tony collected and some brown pieces in the middle from Catman and Jason's claim. Laguna's to share with my fav Laguna Boy!!! Steve! oolitic Chert from Penn State University that Tony got from Daniel. We played tennis Sunday morning and Tony sa there was a strem nearby, I said go for it, I am going to sit in the air conditioning and try to refrain from having a heart attack, LOL He found this peach rock, I have a feeling we will be playing more tennis and doing more stream searching, LOL! Ok, that's all, it is too late and I am getting crazy from Photobucket, LOL! Amber

Sorry, I may have missed a thread somewhere, but is this stuff you bought at an auction or is it stuff you are going to be selling?
Sorry for asking the question, if the answer is obvious.

Rogue: No prob! There was a lapidary and rock auction back in May, a few days after I had surgery. The man had been a collector and had a shop for years. There was so much rock it was unbelivable. Some things went high, others I got good deals on. We were totally stupid and both forgot our cameras that day. It was in Lewistown about 2 hours away from us, so I took my cousin's PU truck, we were hoping to get the 18" saw they had. But the saw looked in bad shape and actually didn't know how we were going to move it. I never sell stuff I usually give it away. If something tickles your fancy let me know! Original notice of auction was posted back in Buy/Sell back in April. I just finally got around to taking all the pics! Amber

Oh, those are really beautiful Amber! That lace looks really solid so you are going to love working with that once it is cut! Hmmm, are some of these larger rocks going on vacation with you??? Might just be what they need to get cut Fran

Wow Amber what a score...love those auctions but it is really sad to think about someone going through an entire lifetime collecting to have it sold for pennies on the dollar after they are gone...at least you will get to enjoy it...awesome stuff....your in there right behind Beef on finding jewels at the sales.
