I've been wire wrapping since mid-December and finally decided to post a wrap here. I've done about 20 wraps to date and am still in practice mode (only do about 3 a month). The cool thing is, for about the last month or two, I've started to develop a style that I enjoy and lean towards. Anyhow... this wrap is my second most recent one and probably my 3rd favorite of mine to date. Any comments or criticisms are welcome. I am a big boy and can take the heat. As long as it can make me better, I'm welcome to it. Thanks in advance.

Hey Larry, It's cool, I really like it! You did a great job on the snowflake too! Jo

Very nice job, Larry. I like the treatment of the curls at the top, and you managed to leave no tool marks on the wire, as well! I hope I can master that one day. Very nice cab, too.

Very very nice Larry!!! My only suggestion would be to pull the wires at the top used for decoration, in towards the middle more. I have found......and had people who wear wrapped pendants tell me that hair gets caught in those wires, along with clothing. However, if the design calls for the wire ends to be in an outward position more, make sure you file all them very well so that they have the least possible chance of catching and causing discomfort to the wearer.

Thanks for the comments. Thanks Shannon for the tip on the top part. I'll try to keep them in more. My artsy side says set those wires free but they need to be practical as well. Also as can be seen, symmetry is not my thing The only person to show me how to do these in person is huge into symmetry, but once again the former artist-wannabe in me says 'no way'. Thanks again everybody!

Outstanding job on polishing that obsidian. We all know how hard it is to get that kind of finish on there. Next thing I noticed was the way you brought the bottom wire up to frame that bottom snowflake. Love that. The only thing I had to suggest was the same thing Shannon had to say. While the wires look great "free", they'll catch on the wearer's clothes & get bent all out of shape. Then it won't look so great. Afraid they need to brought in to preserve the beauty of the pendant. I agree with you about symmetry. I find it boring & deliberately keep away from it. All in all, a great job. Keep it up. Jo

Very nice job. Your curves are very smooth, something I struggle with. I have no artsy side but so I can't comment much on the design other than I like it.

Larry: That looks great!!! Awesome job on the cab as well! I like the craziness of the top, and I agree with Shannon, I have long hair and things can get caught, but after looking closely it appears you have a little curve on the ends so that might help. One good way to test is to wear it, I know sort of weird, but then you can feel for rough edges or see if it grabs your clothing! I think it is super though, it is a beauty! Post some more! Amber

I love it! The arty look with the 'floating' curlies and waves looks great!
