I started cutting a large piece of morrisonite that i bought up by tony's and i need to know if i am cutting it the right way or should i try to turn it 90 degrees and get just a couple longer slabs? ty mary ann

I would turn it 90 degrees and make a cut and see which one you like best, looks like your best pattern is right alongside the matrix, so you will get one really good slab off of each side, then the rest will probably be so so. You can always turn it back and finish cutting if it doesnt look any better the other way.
