Last Tuesday, a big old truck stopped by my house with a pallet of Las Choyas geodes and nodules - 50 lbs of geodes and 600 lbs of nodules to be exact. Luckily, I wasn't home at the time. The driver and my wife had to unload it. They got the last laugh as they unloaded it at the end of my driveway...about 150 ft from my cellar way. I had to carry the bags up hill to the house. Anyway, when I got home from work today, I thought it would be a good day to see what was inside the geodes. I went over to town to the tavern to get a little something to eat and a couple beers for fortification, returned home, put a new husky blade on my WF, and attacked the 50 lb bag. 2 1/2 hours later.......... Paired up - Got tired of pairing them up (and ran out of room) Probably the best one

Cool! Some look to have some neat patterns in them from what I can see! What are you going to do with them? Make slices or polish the opening? Fran

I'm looking into a vibe lap for face polishing them. Trouble is, the 50 lbs cost me almost as much as the lap would. Fortunately (or not) I have another 600 lbs of nodules that I can slice and polish along with some specimen slabs. hmmm, do I really need 600 lbs of basically agate?
