I never figured to get Stone Canyon in Victoria BC, but me and the rock met and now it is goming home on the airplane with me. (click for full size) just over 30lbs

Woody, there was an old rockhound and a rockshop involved. It had been in the back corner of the shop for years and a bit under priced.
Amy, this one will be in the checked bag. At least I will get my $15 worth!

I've oggled that piece of stone canyon DOZENS of times, never had the cash to take it home though... Glad you picked it up Dan, it HAS been there for years. I bet Jerry was thrilled to see it finally sell. I also hope you have a REALLY big slabbing saw...

Nice boulder! Stone canyon Jasper comes in such big ole pieces that they seem to show up with some frequency in old shops and rock piles. Some of those older hunks are the nicer ones too....Mel
