Here are my 1st and 2nd wire wrapped beach pebbles. I found them on a Norfolk beach, UK and tumbled them myself, that was a first too! I know the 1st one has tool marks on the wire and it is also not symetrical. The 2nd one is a bit better but I am not happy with the swirly bits.I can't seem to get them even and how I really want them to go. How do you guys make them look so smooth and flowing? I would love some feedback please as I want to know whether to keep going or just give up now. Thank you in advance. Mary PS. Sorry the photos aren't very good. 1st wrap 2nd wrap

Those beat the heck out my first try. Give yourself more credit - they're pretty darn good!

Yep! The answer to your question is: practice! LOL. Those look great! You're doing a great job at mastering your wire. Jo

Mary: OK, I hate wrapping, my first wrap was so scary I never attempted another! But I love to see what those with talent can do!
These are fabulous! You are being way to hard on yourself! Like all other forms of the craft, the more you practice the better you will get! Welcome to the board, and congrats on 2 mighty fine pendants! I especially like the top one! Amber

You sure did a great job on both of your firsts; tumbles and wraps. Sometimes the wire just has to go where it wants to go. lol
I hope you keep at it and post more.

Thanks for all your comments guys. We went to our caravan on the coast again last weekend and I found some more pebbles to tumble, watch this space. Another question, sorry. I used 22 gauge 0.6mm half hard square wire on both the wraps,is this the best wire to use or would I find it easier with something else? Thanks again. Mary

Size wise, that's a great wire to use. You'll probably find it easier to use dead soft instead of half-hard, though. Knowing these were done with half hard makes me more impressed with your firsts! Half hard is difficult to work with, and you did it with your first ones!

Both look great but I think I disagree with you I like the first one better. Keep it up.
