I just polished the face of this piece of local dendritic dolomite and had to show everyone. It is one of my top two pieces I have found, just wish good chunks were not so hard to find. Reminds me of a Halloween scene, right down to the bats in the sky.

Man that is a beautiful specimen. Reminds me of the Lake Valley , New Mexico material except gold instead of pink. I really like it!.....Mel

Hiya Saskrock, I love seeing rocks in the rough, and the polished face makes the most of this piece, I can see why you were so chuffed with it - superb colour, patterns and polish, it's a keeper for sure! I like the batty effect, looks like a nice pumpkin orange stone too - very tasty rough Sir! Great find! Thanks for sharing your specimen, it's a pleasure to see such lovely stuff! Cheers, Harry.
