Hi All, When I'm not tumbling pebbles, wire wrapping pebbles or thinking about pebbles I breed and show Guinea Pigs! ;D At the moment I have 40 housed in an 8ft x10ft wooden shed in my garden. I go to shows about once a month. The 1st photo shows my 10x Best in Show winning Self Pink Eyed Golden sow,"Suraya". She is now nearly 6 and a half years old and is retired from showing. This shows a Mum and her new babies taken last year. It's interesting to see what people get up to in there lives apart from pebbles. Mary

Awww, now that's cool. What does a guinea pig do in her retirement years? Roll in the grass, gaze at her ribbons and trophies, help raise the youngsters? Jo

Mary!!!!!! I raised/showed rabbits for years and had a few Cavies as well!!!!!!! I had a full blown rabbit barn with approx. 150 bunnies. Standard Rex, Tans, Silvers and Polish. I sooooo miss them. Congratulations!

I wonder if they have guinea pig shows around here? I have never heard of one. My daughter would love, love, love to go to a guinea pig show. I would hate, hate, hate it as I would end up having to spend a bunch of money on a guinea pig with a pedigree. I had a full blown rabbit barn with approx. 150 bunnies. That's what happens when you don't keep them separated.
