Well failure once again with belts. Tried a few auto stores nothing smaller then 24 inch. I stopped at a computer recycle place belts. The guy gave me one to short when I got home by and inch. Stopped at Grainger purchased a 16 inch darn to short. I will have to grap a 18 inch next trip. I feel the 3/8 belt width will be to wide but will try one. Back to the drawing board string deal failed me by slim margin.

Well just as I expected 18 inch length fine. Width 3/8 to wide for the little pulley's.
Soon as I get the pulley's off I will buy some other ones. Personally I think its getting close to deep six this sucker.
To freaken hot to work in garage and Air Cond. getting costly.
I should just hit the buy button and be done with this. I might have to get one of those peddle units to do some cabbing. If the power company keeps raising rates. We haven't seen anything yet with price increases. Have A Great Weekend CMan

Yep I 'm done almost time to take this pig to the recycle bin. Going to take it apart and junk some of it. I promise to myself never to buy junk especially from where this is made. Ordered a Genie wife said about time you ordered it. I will show pictures someday and maybe say a eulogy with a big sledge hammer. Time is to freaken short by the time I find parts. I will need another set of tires for the truck.

If it's not to late...I finally found the instructions for mine. It takes a 08 x 510 (metric) belt. At least now you know the size you couldn't find Dr Joe .

Well someone else is treasure belongs to someone else now. $30 bucks back in my pocket and $10 extra. That's it no more nonsense of finding belt or pully. Enjoying my Genie.

I called the man that bought the lathe the other day.
I had part I found on my bench for the lathe to pick it up.
He mentioned he contacted C Freight I believe they are mailing him specs for the unit. So he can get the correct belt.
I will keep you guy's informed if he gets the correct belt.
