Ok, Friday afternoon we drove about 85 miles North of Phoenix to meet with Clint, (Stoneviews). He is living the dream, he was an East Coaster, who packed it all up for the lure of the West and left Maryland in 2004 and settled in in Payson, AZ. Wow Payson was so cool, like going to the moutains just North of Phoenix, and a beautiful drive! Tony will have to post the scenery pics, I am getting so confused!!!! Anyways, Clint is a heck of a nice guy and we so enjoyed seeing his rocks and collections. He didn't know a thing about rocks, and now has quite a collection of rocks he has found. He also has a beautiful home so nicely decorated which incorporates his love of the West and rocks. We are sorry we didn't get to meet his wife who had to work! We stopped at the local rock shop ran by his friend on the way out of town and he gave us a discount on some slabs we got! Clint it was a pleasure meeting you and thank you for having us and for all the great rocks! He also does wonderful silver work, I was yelling at him to post more, well he gave me this awesome malachite pendant, which I just love!!! This beauty is over 2" tall! Some rock yard pics Clint and I, man he has the most organized, clean shop! I tried to convince him to come to PA and help us organize! LOL Beautiful slabs he gave us! I know he is on a trip to Delta,UT to collect fossils this week, but I wanted to say thank you! Amber

You and Tony sure didn't miss anyone in Arizona did you?!?! There's more members than I thought that lived in such a close proximity. Clint...are you sure that shop is actually a shop???or is it more like a museum??? Looks like a great place. Did he give you and Tony any advice on how to get out of Pennsylvania and move out west? That is a very nice pendant and slabs to boot. Thanks again Amber! Steve

I had never spoken with Clint before meeting him but he was great to talk rocks and life with. I really enjoyed meeting him and encouraged him to post more here. His cabs and his silver work are top notch. I gave him directions to the great collecting spot near Panguitch Utah that Amber and I hit so hopefully he will have a collecting post once he gets back.
