WOW what a shocker!!! I always hate those things becuase if they are boring inside I get pissed, if I found something like that I would die! What a beauty Bob! Are you going to leave it as is? Or pull that fire agate out and cab it? That is really incredible!

Holy crap! A fire agate T-Egg is just too cool. All I've seen look kind of like desert roses. Which mine was that one found at? . Whichever, man that's a keeper for sure!.....Mel

Its going to remain as a Thunder Egg with a suprise. I have too many other Fire Agates that are really nice. I wouldn't want to destroy this specimen just for another Fire Agate. Thanks for the Location ID. I got this at a rock show in San Francisco 20 years or so ago and the dealer didn't disclose where it came from. I just assumed it was from Mexico. Bob

Brian and Amber, I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that!
Nice, er, piece, Bob!

I wasn't going to disclose the sexual connotations of this specimen. I'm a bit suprised that it took until the eighth reply for it to come up, especially after Shan didn't respond about its resemblance. Bob

Though some #$%&% ( Rock Hound ) like to sick square nails in petrified logs and tire to convince you it was a fence post in the middle of Oregon. The out side of your egg look`s a lot like Rabbit Hill Material ( Oregon ). Though a old friend here in Salem has a lot of fire agate material and a few eggs of the old digs. DON`T ASK. I have and No sell. Jack

I can see why the dealer would disclose the location! So, where are the rest of them? Woody
