Here are various goodies. Some of these are lacking in ID and some are trippy looking.
I also have some Chrysocolla and this stuff is gorgeous. The colors are so bright you need sun glasses.
Then I cut up about 12 or so of the Dugway Utah Geodes I got and there were some surprises. Two or three are thunder eggs. One or two of these are solid inside and have center that has the consistency of glass.
I also tried to cut a piece of large agate (?) and discovered this is why you need a bigger saw.
All in all .... a pretty good day!

You cut all that stuff in one day? Good grief. I have a question - how fast do you feed into the saw? In other words, if you were cutting, say, a 2" round piece of agate of some kind, how long would it take to go all the way through it? I don't know if I'm feeding mine too fast, too slow, or what, but it would take me a month to cut that much rock up!

The pictures you see are not big amounts of rocks.
I chose batches of large tumbling rough and 12-15 2"-3" geodes/thundereggs.
Depending on the hardness, and taking into consideration that I only have a 7" saw. I can go through almost everything I set out as my goal for the day in a couple of hours.
But when I get to the agates, really tough pet wood and lakers ... I could end up splitting up the sawing into a couple of days.
I am not like these maniac diehards that can stand there for 3 weeks at a time. ;D

You know what? We need a sawing demonstration video. Hey Randy or anyone who wants to do a vid on cutting different types of material... can you do one?
