Hey Jack, nice slabs. The first unknown is Vogesite form South Africa and your rainbow jasper has more the appearance of mugglestone to me. If it is, those gray/silver lines would be metallic looking hematite......Mel

That is interesting Jack. Randy seems to pick up a lot of South African material in pet shops near him too. Our gal Kim from Delta Rock Gallery seems to buy a lot of wholesale South African stuff too so apparently, the South African sellers have hit the wholesale market for aquarium rock pretty good too. I got both those materials from Kim and they are flat beautiful! The mugglestone is a rough one to cut though and messy.....Mel

Yes I also got some rock crystal absolutly clear from the local Aquatic shop used it on some opal Triplicates came out realy well
