I'm new into the hobby and am looking to build my own cabbing machine. I was searching on the internet looking for some sort of an industrial parts supply store looking for some bearings, shafts, pulleys, etc but came up empty handed. Does any know of a website or store that offers parts to build homemade equipment and at a reasonable price? If so I anxiously await your relpy. Thanks, in the meantime I'll keep searching the web!
p.s everyones threads about their home made equipment is what inspired me to build my own. keep up the good work out there

You can also try www.mcmaster.com. Reasonable prices and just about anything you need (except for the lapidary-specific parts like expando drums). Chuck

Thanks for the replies, I'm from Western NY. I will check out my local agway and ace hardware for some parts and check out the sites. I'll keep my progress updated once the project is in full swing. thanks again

Where abouts in WNY? I'm from down near Dunkirk. I could give you a Lortone all-in-one that needs a lot of work. Lee

I'm from Rochester Lee. I'm definitely interested in that Lorotone all in one. Do you have a picture?
