Is this product really needed to be added to tap water? I just received it with Genie little bottle I added some to water. Should I buy more? DIAMOND PACIFIC WATER AID. Concentrated wetting agent. It increases cutting action of sawing, grinding, and sanding/polishing operations using water by eliminating surface tension and preventing hydro-planing. Allows easy flushing of residues, extending life of tools. Biodegradeable. Approximately 6 drops per pint of water is all that is needed.
Thanks, Cliff

Jet dry works also. Plus, it is cheaper. It breaks down the water molecules to make it 'wetter'. Ken

I don't use any water additives. I believe they are just surfactants, so a small drop of liquid soap should do the same thing...

So what's inthe stuff and where can I get it and make my own??? The stuff looks like RV antifreeze, doesn't it? Any detergent would have tghe same effect, but quarternary ammonium surfactants like those in Formula 409 and Fantastic don't foam. I seem to detect the odor of these agents in the coolants I've used.

You could always request the MSDS and see what's in it.

I've always found that Jet Dry or liquid dish soap work fine. For those of you who use Shaklee products, their Basic H works great for this. Jo
