Mixed parcels, pet wood, purple burro creek agate, beautiful mosses, colorful jaspers, turetella, (sp?) pastelite, Anderson Mine agate, (Boatloads of it), Missouri lace agate, breccia from burro creek, Apache gold ore/pyrite, cave creek jasper, wonderstone-some in silicified forms, chrysocolla, abalone shell, whole or already cut into pieces, Mexican jelly opal, pink chalcedony, plus several picture jaspers, lots that still need positive ID's. Just trying to get caught up, Things have been really slow and I know most of us are feeling the crunch so if you see something you want but don't want to pay that much for it, make me an offer and I'll see what I can do. This offer is only for the RTH members so if you send an inquiry via the website, please include your RTH screen name so I can verify it. Our banners aren't linking to our website at the moment, I have a new banner ready but I need to get it mailed to Akansan so she can do her magic but until then............. www.arizonalapidaryandminerals.comThis is our new web address. I think we have pictures of everything on our website. I don't want to upset any active RTH members so if anyone thinks this post is inappropriate, send me a note and I will remove the offer. Thanks a bunch.

I don't have a problem with this post. The problem I have is that I blew my rock buget up allready this month. BTW these are great people to deal with.

I agree with John. The most amazing agates in my collection are all from Jamie and Rodney, and I got them all at an unbelievable price. They have most certainly earned their place here, no matter what they are posting..........and not because of their rock, but because they are great people that treat us all like their best friends.

I am very new to the hobby and am getting ready to do my very 1st attempt in polishing rocks. I have a 3lb lortone tumbler and based upon the question I asked in my post forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=tottumb&action=display&thread=32963It looks like I should try agates or jaspers until I get the hang of polishing. I looked at your website and did not know there was so many different types of agates could you give me some advice.

I know you're not asking me, but in case DesertDweller isn't here soon...
From one of my other threads - stay away from moss/plume agate as it can be prone to pitting. After that, I think everything else is fair game. Brazilian agates have some nice patterns and colors. Find something you like the look of and give it a try...

I've been lucky enough to receive quite a bit of Jamie and Rodney's material. Finished a cab from their stuff yesterday and have three more in the works. I'm a big fancier of moss and plume and they do have some dandy stuff. Some can have pits or soft spots because that's kind of the nature of this type of material but on the other hand, Jamie's got hold of some very nice and rare mosses and plumes that are highly silicified too. I've even been able to add a few new types to my collection which is fairly unusual and always tickles me pink. Overall, I'd say that even at full price, she's got some nice rock and it's well worth the price. In case you haven't noticed, prices for good rough have really skyrocketed lately....Mel

Ive gotten some of my best materials from Jamie and Rodney......mostly mosses and plumes. As Toad mentioned, a few are prone to pitting but I feel they are worth it due to the rarity. We just got a large flat rater from them and man......talk about some freakishly nice stuff!!!!

Yep, I was just mentioning avoiding plume/moss as a beginner. Some of my favorite tumbled stones are from plume agate - just trying to save any possible headaches.

Really pretty stuff, I am interested, but your prices are not explained. Are prices for a slab, a pound, 1/2 pound?

Jamie puts a lot of thought and care into the boxes she packs. You can't go wrong.
Just a note though, hold on to your eyeballs when you get a box from her as they may pop out. lol

I'm still working my way through a box of moss agates I got not too long ago, but I'm always wanting to see what else you've dug up. That last one was a real outstanding FRB so it will take me a while to get through it. Some of the nicest mosses I have ever seen, right up there with Hungarian agates if you ask me.
What does the Anderson Mine agate look like? Is it something you can tumble? Steve
