I received a new Genie a few weeks ago. They send you a Canvas Pad Plus Diamond Polish. Would you use canvas and Diamond Polish? They don't send you any Silicone spray to cool pad.
Can you use Silicone Spray from say Home Depot or Lowes? Is it needed or anything else to use.
Reference to Pads which others should I buy? Thanks, Cliff

I use leather and then I just dip my cab in WATER. When dry, I dip it again. Ken

You can indeed use silicon spray. That's what I've been using.

The silicon spray is used as an extender. Some diamond compounds use a silicon based fluid so probably not absolutely necessary. It should make your diamond go farther. If you want to use polish compound they make pads in felt, smooth leather, and rough leather.
