Woodyrock posted his homemade girdle marker a while back and I've had it on my to do list ever since.I don't know what took me so long to get to it because making it took all of ten minutes.I used a small block of PVC and tapped a 1/4-20 hole for the knob and drilled a small hole for the pop rivet.I cut the shaft of the rivet off after I took the pic.I would recommend using a piece of a plastic cutting board since PVC is hard to find.Aluminum like woodyrock used would be best if you can get some.My thanks to woodyrock for posting this. SWEET!!! I'm gonna simplify that even more and just clamp the rivet in the vise jaws at the needed height and spin the cab around it.

Mike: Your girdle marker came out great, and the pop rivets may well be easier to find than solid. To me, it the end results that count. I did have a problem with that mind set in university maths. Woody
